Maybe (definitely) I’m over thinking things. Somebody on another sub recommended I look Waterfield, but the proportions on those look off to me some how. The Bedouin Foundry Delireis is gorgeous but has even less organization and again with the top loading. I’ve also looked at the Trakke Assynt stuff, but it has the same concerns re: organization and as an exclusive top loader it might get irritating (also those fasteners look super annoying). I’ve kind of been fixated on a custom YNOT Magnetica, but by the time I’ve added the bells and whistles I want it’s pretty pricey and I worry that I might want something with more organization. I’ve been gravitating to a waxed canvas old school kind of look. I’m looking for a new edc, for my laptop (15” MacBook Pro, pre 2017 flavor) some notebooks, office supplies, assorted chargers, and gack, maybe a small camera. Not really on topic but the auto moderator tells me to put this here.ĭoes anybody have any experience with the Ynot Magnetica? I do a lot of train/bike/walk commuting so not having it rip or straps break is important. I have looked all over Amazon and it seems like so many of the backpacks that meet my criteria have bad reviews in the durability department.
AER FIT PACK BINDER PLUS
Color options besides black, if it comes in purple that's a super plus Things that I'd like but aren't necessary: Under $50-60 USD, but will splurge for the right bag If I had a third cup pouch, i'd probably carry a beer. I frequently carry a water bottle and a small coffee thermos. At least one, preferably two, side-situated water bottle holder pouches. I'm 5' tall with mild back problems so anything with padded shoulder straps and a straight back or lumbar support is very much a plus I'd like to keep my laptop protected in the case of rain. Water resistant, I live in a semi-rainy climate and bike/walk a lot. Fits 10.5" tablet laptop thing (it's the Acer tablet with click-in keyboard)
I do not carry textbooks, and I have a small frame so I'm trying to minimize size and weight. I am looking for a small backpack that will hold up to my semi-active grad student life.
I don't want anything that is aggressively minimalist or with too many bells and whistles So far I have looked at North Face Recon, Borealis (leaning towards this), Surge, and Router the Osprey Quasar and the Timbuk2 Vert (although I don't love the Timbuk2 design) and would like to hear opinions on any of these or any recommendations similar to these, thanks. All I really need to carry is school stuff, as I won't be camping with it or anything Looks: Honestly, just something 'normal' or 'average'. Purpose: I want to carry a handful of binders/notebooks and eventually a laptop, probably not too much else Size: I want a small backpack (obviously big enough to fit a few binders etc.) that lays relatively close/flat to my back and doesn't stick out a ton. Price Range: Looking to stay under 175$, and would probably prefer to stay around 100$, although I could be swayed for high quality/durability. I'm a senior in high school looking for a backpack I can hopefully use for all of college (if possible).
